BAPPS AUTUMN CONFERENCE (ONLINE)
1.00 to 5.00 pm – Robert T. Muller, Phd
Using the relationship to heal trauma:
Rupture, repair, and relational work with clients and supervisees
How do we use relationship? What does this mean to us as practitioners? what does it mean to our patients and clients?
What is Trauma, and what is trauma?? What is the difference? How much do we think and differentiate between the two?? How attuned are we when working assiduously with troubles in so many aspects of so many lives? What is it that we avoid in relationships – with ourselves – our patients/clients/supervisors/supervises? How do we trust, and work to build and deserve trust? So many questions which just produce pondering. This conference offers a special forum to think, debate, reflect and question our psychodynamic and psychoanalytic supervisory practice.
Robert T. Muller is offering us the opportunity to explore these questions. He has personal experience of being of an intergenerational Hungarian Jewish heritage, so well versed in actuality. We have the opportunity to work with him in a very rare context of bringing his considerable knowledge into our own private – and organisational practice.
We will have ample space to question, ponder and debate.
Throughout the workshop, theory is complemented by case examples, practical exercises, and segments from Dr. Muller’s own treatment sessions. The workshop focuses on clinical skills that are directly applicable in our work as therapists and supervisors.
This is a customised workshop for BAPPS, and as ever, non-members are welcome.
Tickets: Non-Members: £65; Members: £60; Retired Members £35
