Sam Milford

Supervisor & psychodynamic psychotherapist

As a psychodynamic practitioner my aim is to support and thoughtfully challenge supervisees as they explore the complexities of their clinical work - encouraging a deeper understanding of unconscious processes and relationship dynamics. Supervision sessions will usually involve lively, collaborative discussions around specific current cases. Through this honest enquiry the client receives thoughtful care and the therapist builds on their clinical skills, therapeutic competence, reflection and self-awareness.

I am a BACP and UKCP accredited practitioner and will work with supervisees to consider ethical and professional standards within their practice. I work with both individuals and groups in a range of settings, including training organisations and private practice. I undertake ongoing CPD and keep myself informed of changes in the field.

Sessions are generally scheduled fortnightly, last for 50 minutes, and can be either in person in my North Laine practice or over Zoom as necessary.
